Trust In God
When you put your hope in yourself or in others you will find that both will leave you disappointed. Yes, you should have confidence in your own abilities and trust in others, such as, family members and friends but be careful not to put all your hope in those rather than God. If our dependence is solely on people eventually they will fail us. Humans are made as imperfect beings so there is a need for God. The great news is God is perfect therefore he will never forsake you nor fail you like people can and will do.
When things get too hard, too much, too painful and you feel like your at your last breath. Please do not give up or run away from God. Don’t turn to or depend on ”anything” or “anyone” as a way to numb, ease or avoid the pain, even those closest to you because it is temporary and will ultimately leave you empty and unsatisfied. Instead, completely lean on and trust in God and he will bring restoration, healing and deliver you from the pain and suffering in your life. If you simply will delight in God, He will give you the desires of our hearts.
“Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him…” - Psalm 37:5-7a, NIV
