Come to Me

Come to me and say your prayers
Come to me and praise my name
Come to me and know me well…
For if I can brighten all that is earth
With the sunshine of day and the moonlight of night
How can I not make your paths clear and straight?
And if I can heal a blind man, so that beauty will touch his sight
How can I not turn your wrong to right?
And when you call on me – I will be there
In every part of your life – I will be there
In every lonely place – I am center
And every time the sky is dark with gloom,
I shine through with the brightness of righteousness blessed upon you
My child, you are mine and I am yours
Always do I live in you-
So that your breath is my breath
And your step is my step
For all to see, that it is you who represents me.

Dear Victims

In God’s presence your enemies shall tremble,
With one strike they shall fall.
God’s wrath they must suffer
For mercy does not know evil
but evil knows its place beneath His feet.
Good shall always triumph
revealed in the ending days
The innocent will be restored and their hearts mended
For His faithfulness is true
His triumph will manifest itself
His goodness shall conquer!
At times I know you smile and pretend
but you just want the pain to end.
You do not have to be burdened with guilt
Because of brutal sin the enemy forced into your life
God will turn everything wrong to right
He says, “I have not forsaken you,
seek me in faith for your safety and healing is here.”
Surrender your heart to Him and no longer to your fears
Suffer no more; bring Him your tears,
In His touch, you are no longer broken,
In His Perfection, you are cleansed and complete
In His Love, you are protected;
Cling to your Savior in His resting place,
And I promise with open arms He will embrace…

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” - Deuteronomy 31:8

God’s Power Through The Holy Spirit

He whispers gently in my ear
…the answers to be written
…the wisdom of all the ages
…the purpose of the divine

He settles in my womb
…leads me towards righteousness
…guides me through trials
…protects me from harm

His direction is complete,
when obedience is at His feet-
Transformation is at will,
in what the flesh will endure-
For the spirit teaches only while the student listens
God brings comfort to the soul,
when the Spirit is enriched;
The word of truth satisfies the Spirit
as food nourishes to satisfy the body

Satisfaction of the Spirit leads to
…a delighted heart
…a renewed mind
…a refreshed body
…and a peace beyond all understanding

God strengthens the weak and humbles the strong
Seek time with our designer as a child seeks time with his father
Come to learn the power of His presence
And the value in the Spirit’s true essence

For God made “who you are” as a right,
to get to know the almighty creator of life:
Accept Jesus as your Savior,
The Spirit as your Guide,
And let thine enemy perish!

“If you seek God, your God, you’ll be able to find him if you’re serious, looking for him with your whole heart and soul. When troubles come and all these awful things happen to you, in future days you will come back to God, your God, and listen obediently to what he says. God, your God, is above all a compassionate God. In the end he will not abandon you, he won’t bring you to ruin, he won’t forget the covenant with your ancestors which he swore to them.” - Deuteronomy 4:29 (The Message)

In those tough times of struggle,
I chose not to lose hope,
As hard as it was, I could not give up,
For I knew the source of my strength,
Not money, success or even my family,
It is the Faith that kept me stable,
The Joy that kept me going,
The Peace that rests my Spirit;
Hope brings these all together,
The Hope that helps me believe.
I could not have Faith without Hope,
And I could not have strength without Faith,
So what keeps me living and pursuing,
What keeps me dreaming,
Stems from the Hope instilled deeper than my soul,
My Hope that lives within:
My Lord – Jesus Christ.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.” - Proverbs 13:12, Amplified Bible

Imagine the Impossible

My dream in God’s hope satisfies my peace
For His hopes and my dreams become one piece
So I look above green pastures
Past the faint cloudy sky
For when I look beyond the storm
His vision is as clear as mine
And here my faith shall form
For my hope will surely shine
Remembering His promises;
And His purpose for my design.

The Power of Words

These words I speak… danger cause?
These words I speak bring death to fall
But I can turn these words I speak,
To streams of Gold so unique
Embarking on a Strong Foundation
Knowing that I am God’s creation

So that when I speak,
Lights shine from heaven,
Then I can go to bed with true Joy and Peace,
For it will be invested in my heart and enriched in my soul,
And in that night,
Day will end in this world,
But in spirit – Life will just begin,

That is the Day;
I tame my words and speak life’s truth,
For I can lead my life to shame,
Always putting off the blame
Or I can be the “One Who Overcame!”
I can live today in sorrow
Or look forward to a better tomorrow!
I can lead a life contradictory
Or I can lead a life full of victory
I can live a life of stress
Or I can choose to be a success
I can live my life suppressed
Or follow God and be blessed,
Cause what I say, plays its part,

Like written script:
Each word read from the book of my heart
“I” can write my life’s pages!
The Lord has given me control!
With this authority placed in my hands,
what doors I could open, what blessings I could have,
What Dreams I could fulfill!
Formed from the foundations of words
So Then what do I do, where do I start, what role should I impart?
And how will I know which part to play?
Oh Yes! God will pave the way.
Then He will lead me to read his word
For His bible leads to THE TRUTH!
Then I will sing His Songs of Praise
And expect my mouth to change its ways
I will rejoice in His Name!
And give thanks to God for gifting me and you the same.
That is, Power, Love and a sound mind…
Qualities we all seek to find
So from now on,
My tongue will encourage, lift and heal broken hearts
I will continue to pray
So it will not be lead astray
Because in the end it is all worthwhile!
Thus through temptations,
I face death with a smile.
In this day and that day alike,
I forever choose Life!

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” - Proverbs 18:21, NIV

Oh Lord, I demand, I demand!
…to withstand, to withstand
This pain like quicksand
my heart cannot bare
Falling to a place I thought I would not dare
Lord hear me in my cry for help
This life is not the life you led
Help me… I am weak my hands have no prestige
My face fallen at the place of your feet
I take refuge… my refuge come and make me safe
In ur comfort while I grieve in your holy place
Oh Lord I demand, I demand!
…to withstand, to withstand
You are made strong in my weakness
Pour me with your blessedness
Oh lord I demand, I demand!
…to withstand, to withstand
The enemy is a lie…
I will not let his hatred command me to die
Lest my feet run away from trial
I have more to offer then to run in denial
I stand! I stand! Withstand in hope
Your rock beneath my feet of gold
I stand! I stand! In the midst of trouble
I am not alone and I remain humble
Yes, I demand, I demand!
…to withstand, to withstand!
Who can condemn me…
His robe of righteousness I wear
Who can fool me
His Spirit is my guide and care
Who can break me when
His Love covers a multitude of pain
As one curses me with their lips
God blessings me with his word
I am washed by the blood of His righteousness…
His good news I lay written upon my heart
So the lies of my enemy
Shall not instill in me
The strike of thy enemy
I shall not be moved (touched)
And the hatred of another
Shall not be my burden
I said the sin of another
Shall not be my burden
I am washed by the blood of His righteousness..
I stand! I stand!
By the miracles of thy rod
For I am crowned with the promises of God…
So I stand! I stand! I stand in this weary broken land
Because I believe in what He meant for me
And I smile to make worth in why he died for me.

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” - Romans 8:31

Alas, my heart is filled…
Love flows out like a Spring breeze
Along the current of a peaceful stream
As Spring does remind
How close the summer months of splash and fun are near
I am reminded of your promises
Sent by the purity of your love
I pause…
To soak in your presence – your love does remind
to confirm upon my eyes
I reminisce as I watch your rainbow and sun kiss
an instant rhythm of anticipation
so I dream…
Thank you Lord for the comfort of my bones-
and the lift of my poor flesh
For though my tongue yearns for bread
my body and soul satisfied so well
nourished by the Spirits reflection;
I am guided by His direction
And so I forget-
That yesterday my flesh suffered as I ached beneath my chest
Today I am at my best- satisfied in your rest
Enjoying the love I now embrace
Encouraged to seek out your face…
Blessings- a product of your love
I sing to rejoice with your name in mind
Thankful your love arrives just in time.

Pursuit to Wholeness

I need motivation, drive, a reason to move,
Definition, clarity, opportunity to infuse,
I need finances, status, something to prove,
Direction, progression, freedom to choose!

I need fulfillment, serenity, a stable foundation,
Security, protection; a place of salvation.

I need Peace, Comfort, healing of my wounds,
Health, recovery; my restoration is due!

I need Passion, Desire; a Confidence from within,
Contentment, Happiness; Joy beneath my skin,
Encouragement, satisfaction; an abundance of spiritual fruit;
But- in the midst of my preoccupied pursuit,
Loss… Disappointment, Discouragement, fear-
loneliness, struggle, the pain in my tears.

Too much to bear, with confusion in the air;
I pause-
My soul awakes, my heart opens, for I can see…
My source to wholeness lives within me.

A New Day

Your birds chirp,
Your cool breeze blows,
You calm my soul.
My comfort is with you, and not in the world,
I serve you- not my flesh.
You are the one I aim to please
You are the one I surrender to,
My savior brings me restoration.
As I sit in his morning breeze,
I enjoy the subtle sounds of nature.
Thank you Jesus…
I am not alone, For every prayer – you suffice
You feel my heart’s cries each night,
There is no one who mends my heart,
Like my Love, My Lord, My Savior.
You bring me joy in the midnight hour,
Peace you rest upon me in the days of trial,
So I seek you first- your beauty, your presence-
Knowing all else follows- all natural implications
Today is a new day- This I claim
For this day is not the same
This day- I enter your rest.
